Planking was so three months ago. Nearly every possible surface has found some person planking on it at some time or another.
Planking is the awkward photo phenomena where people imitated being a plank of wood in strange places – weddings, on top of signs, on trees, on lamp posts…
Then came owling, which was more of a flop than high-flyer.
Owling where one person would plank and another person squat on top of him. This was meant to imitate an owl on a branch. We’re not sure why that awkward photo movement didn’t take off. Maybe because it’s not feasible to squat on your friend while he lays window stills and such.
But there’s a new awkward pose making it's rounds and it looks like it's about to hit it big – Horsemanning. “Horsemanning” gets its name from the infamous Headless Horseman of “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow”.
It seems simple enough in concept. All you need to do is to hide your head to make it appear that you're headless. After that, another friend poses nearby showing only the head. This gives the impression that the head was detached from the body.
We’ve seen several horsemanning photos making its way around the web and we like what we see! Take a gander below.
