A Beginner's Guide to The Triads

The Triads is a great game, and it's well-loved by hundreds of MatchMove Games players. However, it does have a bit of a learning curve, and starting up may be a little confusing.

Understanding that, we've decided to provide everyone with some useful tips on how to climb your way to the top!

Tip 1: Don't waste energy

Energy allows you to carry out missions, which are your best source of experience points and money. It recharges by one point every four minutes, and so you want to make sure that you never let your energy sit at the maximum level without being used. The more missions you carry out, the more experience you'll gain, and so you should aim to consistently have an energy value of 0.

However, while you don't want to leave your energy unused, you also have to make sure that you use it efficiently. Try to make sure that you are always doing the missions that return the most experience points.

To be able to do that, you have to follow our next tip:

Tip 2: Upgrade your equipment often

Upgrading your equipment will not only improve your defense and offense, it will also unlock more advanced mission types. These missions will yield far more experience than their lower level counterparts, and they will also reward you with a much more money.

The one with the biggest gun tends to win.

Tip 3: Upgrade your stats wisely

Upgrading your statistics after each level up will ensure that you remain competitive with other players. In the beginning, the most important statistic to improve is Energy, because of the fact that it will allow you to perform more missions before exhausting your total supply. Constantly upgrading Energy until you reach level 20 or so will help you level up faster, and you can on where to go from there.

Tip 4: Invest in property

Using up your energy completing missions will undoubtedly leave you with a lot of spare cash lying around, which can be taken from you should you be attacked repeatedly while you are offline.

The best way to prevent this is to buy properties. Doing so will make your money work for you, as you'll be able to collect an hourly supply of rent income. However, should you fancy yourself a property tycoon, remember that the maximum total rent that can be collected is three hours' worth. That means you should come and collect rent at least once every three hours to make sure that money doesn't get lost.

We hope these tips have helped, and hope that you continue to enjoy playing The Triads. Please feel free to visit our Forums should you have any other questions!
